During May this year Joanne and I embarked on a whistle-stop tour of North Wales as part of the Being 34 project. Visits to Caernarfon Castle, Aberdaron, Whistling Sands, Criccieth and Portmerieon all within a day and a half. Awesome!

It’s nearly six months since I started the Being 34 project. Things have moved a little slower than I anticipated for a multitude of reasons but progress is being made. Here’s a quick update on what I’ve completed so far along with an amended full list of 34 activities.

Today is the 7 April 2011 and marks my 34th birthday. Today also sees the launch of a new personal project called Being 34. The aim of the project is to celebrate reaching a special age within my life not just today but throughout the 12 months of Being 34.

Reading is one of those things that I really enjoy but always struggle to make enough time for. There was a time where I used to read a few chapters of a book before bedtime every night as part of winding down for a good nights sleep. Today, I’m more likely to be staying up late watching television or checking my tweets before turning the light out.

I’ve been working on the design of this blog for a few months now and have finally created something that I’m happy with. Over the next few weeks I’m hoping to implement the design into the existing WordPress theme that I’m currently running.
